Marisa Aragón Ware is a professional illustrator living in California.

Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Marisa garnered her deep appreciation of nature from a childhood spent enveloped in the forests and glades of the Rocky Mountains. Those formative experiences heavily influence both her art and outlook, and she strives to depict the beauty of the natural world to help others connect with its abundant primordial magic.

Marisa earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado in Editorial Journalism. She's since written for a wide array of publications, includingClimbing Magazine, Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose, Elephant Journal, The Rocky Mountain News, the Camera, and the Boulder Weekly.

Marisa also attended the Academy of Art University to earn a master's degree in Traditional Illustration. Currently, her life revolves around art, yoga, and nature, as well as studying the vast array of mysteries involved in being human.
